The Buzz Lee Memorial Scholarship was named after William "Buzz" Lee (my Father), Romeo native and Romeo HS Graduate. Buzz passed away of a Brain Tumor in December of 2002. The Scholarship began as a golf outing Buzz and the other members of the Romeo VFW Post 2052 used to organize annually. This golf outing has contributed to a vocation scholarship awarded to a High School student. When he passed away, the outing was named after him. Now, the outing and other events contribute to more than just one scholarship. The fund contributes to other activities including pay-to-play and other student efforts. All proceeds from the "I Survived Tillson St." shirts have gone to the memorial scholarship.

Buzz at the 1st VFW outing.	The Sixth Annual Buzz Lee Memorial Golf Outing will be scheduled for the summer of 2008. Time and location TBD, but it will be fun!
